This beer pours a dark reddish-brown color with a small tan head. Aromas of roasted malts, hazelnut, and coffee all fill the nose along with hints of chocolate. This is a medium to light bodied beer with a smooth and creamy mouthfeel but also a dry finish. On the palate you get flavors of roasted malt, coffee, notes of hazelnut as well as some chocolate. This is a good stout from our friends at Crooked Stave that reminds me of a hazelnut cold brew.
